FUN DAYS ON THE REC
We plan and hold regular events that enable us to come together as a community and if appropriate, to raise funds to contribute to improvements on the Rec.
In the past we have held:
- Silver Sunday events to celebrate the lives of older people
- Springfests to celebrate the start of spring
- Easter Egg Fun Days
- Dog Shows
- Christmas Markets
- Christmas Fun Runs
- Nest Box Day when we put up the boxes children had decorated.
We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help us run these activities - see our call-out for volunteers here
Over 200 children came along to our Family Fun event on a sunny Easter Monday and a great time was had by all. We would like to give special thanks to our sponsors, Martin and Co Letting and Real Estate Agents for providing banners, Easter Eggs, printing and super helpers on the day, to Ant Designs for the artwork, to the 14 very generous donors to our lucky dip, to 13 helpers on the day. and to 12 cake-makers.
